These are all pictures of Louise. I don't know who Louise is. As far as I know, she wasn't related to me at all but was a friend of my great grandmother. I called them pictures, but they were actually all sent as postcards in the late 1970s-the early 1980s. As you can see, Louise was quite an intrepid lady. The first picture above is of her on the Great Wall of China. In the 1970s. That's wild!
Many of these postcards were sent for Christmas. Louise also sent my great-grandmother, Irene, some candy for Christmas, and she sent some to Irene's sister, Ann, as well. And she often made comments that implied she thought that Irene might keep the candy for herself. Ha!
