My Brand

1. 10 words I'd like other people to use when describing me:

  • calm
  • kind
  • solver
  • cozy
  • comfortable
  • reliable
  • responsible
  • cheerful
  • comforting
  • listener

2. Translate these words into "brand values":

  •  kindness
  • thoughtfulness
  • reliability
  • helpfulness

 3. Does my behavior represent these values?

To the best of my ability, yes.

4. Does my social media represent my personal brand?

Again, yes, to the best of my ability.

5. What are you know for among friends, family, and colleagues?

I think most people that I know are familiar with my brand.  If anything, they are surprised when I do something that's not listed above.  (I am actually pretty funny in person, which is not at all reflected in the above.  I do like that people think I am funny but not at the expense of any of the above values.  Also, I'm not really the kind of funny that gets you invited to parties and things like that.  Or maybe the people that I know that have parties don' think I'm funny and the people that I know that think I'm funny don't have parties.)

6. What drives or motivates you?  Make a list of plans for the next six months that tap into these drivers and your values.

        Things that motivate me:

  • connecting others
  • learning
  • showing up for people
  • doughnuts
  • spending time with friends
  • mental challenges/puzzles
  • experiencing nature

I have made a list of plans for the next six months that incorporates all of these, except doughnuts.  I'll need to find some time to work in the doughnuts.

 7. Design a Rebel Badge that defines you.  What would it be called?  What would it look like?

My badge would be called "Fairy Godmother".  It would look like this:

And that completes the My Brand badge!  I certainly did not expect this to be the first badge that I finish.  It was much easier than anticipated, however.  No supplies needed and most of these are things I have been thinking about any way.
